Overview
The Vendor Service Representative interacts with customers to provide and process information in response to inquiries, concerns, and requests about products and services.
Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries by phone and email
- Place outbound calls to customers to obtain additional information
- Work to resolve any customer concerns and answer any questions
- Research customer inquiries using available resources
- Process payments and enrollment requests
- Call vendors that are not enrolled and begin enrollment process
- Direct escalation issues to the designated resource
- Maintain accurate records of customer correspondence and transactions in the system
- Work closely with other departments to meet customers' objectives
- Provide timely follow-up on all customer inquiries
- Assist with additional special projects as needed
