Vehicle Maintenance Technician

Overview

We have an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated individual to join the Engineering Team as a fully skilled Heavy Goods Vehicle Maintenance Technician based at our Vehicle Maintenance Unit in Maidstone.

Your role is to maintain FedEx Assets' safety and reliability by performing service and maintenance of the company fleet of vehicles and trailers in line with planned maintenance schedules, ensuring the fleet is safe, legal and fit for duties.

Working hours: 40 per week

Working pattern: Rotating shifts Monday to Friday 06:00–14:30 and 14:00–22:30.

Salary: Base pay £21.70 per hour. Premium paid for hours worked between 19:00–22:00 (£2.33 per hour), and 22:00–06:00 (£2.82 per hour).
