Job Description

Reporting to the Vehicle Maintenance Supervisor, the Vehicle Maintenance Shop Helper supports the maintenance and operations team by assisting with preventative maintenance, basic repairs, cleaning, organization, and general labour duties in the shop and yard. This role plays an important part in keeping the vehicle fleet and other equipment operating safely and efficiently.

The ideal candidate is reliable, safety‑minded, physically capable, and eager to learn. Previous mechanical experience is an asset but not required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist mechanics with preventative maintenance inspections and basic repairs
  • Help with cleaning, organizing, and maintaining the shop, tools, and work areas
