Responsibilities
- Be a part of a project team working in a fast paced environment with project managers, superintendents, and engineers
- Collaborate with VDC Leadership team to build and manage a BIM Execution Plan and VDC implementation strategy.
- Understand the owner BIM / Exchange Information Requirements (EIR) and use a custom suite of software tools to prepare model-based deliverables.
- Have the freedom and creativity to develop project specific workflows that utilize BIM data for estimating, logistics, planning, scheduling (4D), coordination, field layout, and facilitates management.
- Develop solutions with the project stakeholders by performing model based design and constructability review, clash detection and visualization.
- Manage the development of Revit models to contain COBie data for asset management.
- Conduct VR walkthroughs of the future built asset with the client to address design concerns.
