We are recruiting an EV Charging Interoperability Engineer to join a leading automotive electrification programme, supporting validation and compatibility testing of electric vehicle (EV) charging systems.

This role sits within a Charging Validation & Verification team and focuses on delivering high‑quality test data to support design release and technology advancement of EV charging infrastructure compatibility.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct EV charging interoperability testing (lab and road testing)
• Prepare and configure test vehicles (hardware & software)
• Validate compliance with ISO 15118, DIN 70121, IEC 61851 and OCPP
• Investigate EVSE compatibility issues (CCS / Combo charging)
• Support commissioning and acceptance testing of measurement equipment
