Talascend is seeking an experienced ADAS Safety Validation Engineer for an opportunity located in Newark, CA.
OVERVIEW:
This role will focus on testing and validating critical ADAS/AD safety features such as Automatic Emergency Braking, Cross-Traffic Alert, and Lane Departure Protection. This role is integral in ensuring high-quality, fully validated features through comprehensive test planning, execution, and collaboration across cross-functional teams.
Primary Responsibilities: Plan and execute test validation for ADAS/AD safety features on both component and vehicle levels. Align with teams at our Newark, CA headquarters and support homologation testing (NHTSA, GSR2, Euro NCAP). Analyze data, identify root causes, and ensure traceability to performance and functional requirements. Support benchmarking, calibration, and development of post-processing methods. <...
