About the role


In the vacation student geotechnical engineer role, gain hands-on experience supporting ground control and geotechnical activities across the mine site. Working alongside experienced professionals, you'll contribute to projects that help ensure safe and efficient mining operations.

Some of your work may include:

  • Assist with geotechnical monitoring and data collection.

  • Support inspections of pit walls, underground workings and ground support systems.

  • Analyse geotechnical data and monitoring results.

  • Contribute to ground control and risk management activities.

  • Assist with geotechnical reporting and documentation.

  • Work with operational teams to support safe mining practices
