Summary

The primary role and responsibility of a Utilities Engineer is to preserve, maintain, operate and optimize plant utilities equipment inclusive boiler and steam distribution systems. This work will require extensive knowledge and must be accomplished with appropriate competency and safety consciousness. Other functions include preventive and predictive procedures, modifying, testing, measuring, assembling, improving, and installing utility facilities and related equipment. Maintenance duties will include operating, repairing, refurbishing, adjusting, and calibrating a wide range of equipment in the general categories of Steam, Compressed air, Chilled water, treated water, waste water, refrigeration and HVAC.
