Role overview
Coca-Cola Beverages Africa is seeking a Utilities Artisan to support the reliability and performance of key plant utility systems at its Phoenix, KwaZulu-Natal site.
Key responsibilities
Work hands-on with utility assets such as boilers, air compressors, chillers, pumps, HVAC systems, and water systems.
Carry out planned maintenance as well as repairs when equipment fails.
Diagnose faults, identify the underlying causes of breakdowns, and help prevent repeat issues.
Ensure all work complies with legal, statutory, and safety standards.
Perform routine inspections and monitor equipment condition to spot early signs of wear or malfunction.
Support initiatives aimed at improving water and energy efficiency.
Accurately complete job cards and maintain records through a Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
Assist during plant shutdowns and provide support on projects as required.
