Role Summary



The R&D Microbiology Laboratory Technician provides daily laboratory support to the Microbiology R&D team by performing standardized microbiological testing on beverages, concentrates, and ingredients. The role ensures accurate sample handling, testing, documentation, and compliance with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) to support product release decisions and research objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, log, label, and process R&D and pilot-plant samples in accordance with approved microbiological methods and sampling plans.
  • Perform routine microbiological tests including APC, coliforms, yeast and mold, and environmental swabs/rinse water testing.
  • Prepare culture media, buffers, and reagents; conduct sterility checks and maintain lot and expiration records.
