Job Description
We are looking for a highly experienced Electron developer to build and refine a cross-platform desktop overlay application for macOS and Windows.
The application must function as a transparent, always-on-top overlay that allows click-through behavior while preventing focus stealing from underlying applications. This requires deep knowledge of Electron internals, operating system window management, and native APIs for both macOS and Windows.
This is an advanced system-level implementation. Please apply only if you have prior experience working with OS-level window behavior and custom Electron window configurations.
Project Objective
Develop a transparent overlay window that:
Floats above all applications, including full-screen apps
Supports click-through functionality
Does not steal focus from the active application
Dynamically enables/disables click-through when hovering interactive UI elements
