We have a live PHP website (running on PHP 7.x / 8.x + MySQL) that is currently experiencing several backend/server-side issues. The site is partially broken and needs urgent fixes so that core functionality works again.
Main tasks needed right now:
Diagnose and resolve PHP backend errors (notices, warnings, fatal errors, 500 errors)
Fix problems in core PHP files / custom scripts (no heavy framework like Laravel / Symfony – mostly procedural + some OOP code)
Correct database queries / connections that are failing
Solve issues with forms, file uploads, sessions, authentication, or API calls (if relevant)
Ensure fixes are safe for production (no breaking changes to working parts)
Test thoroughly on staging or locally before applying to live server
Contract duration of less than 1 month.
Mandatory skills: PHP, WordPress, MySQL, HTML, JavaScript
