Job Description
We are an Italian family residing in beautiful Lions Bay, British Columbia, seeking a compassionate elder care provider to assist us with home care on a part-time basis. Starting with 2days/week. We can offer a 4 hour minimum day. The ideal candidate will serve as a companion, offering support and companionship to our beloved family members. My mother, 79 has early stage dementia, and balance issues, my father 87 has macular degeneration but is still very active and often goes fishing with a friend.
This is a live-out position that requires a gentle and caring approach, ensuring a comfortable and nurturing environment. The responsibilities include engaging in meaningful conversations, accompanying our family member during outings, and assisting with daily activities including house keeping/cleaning. The candidate must be able and willing to drive periodically to help with medical appointments and grocery shopping.
We are offering a competitive wage of $25 per hour for this role....
