Job Description

Regina Urgent Care Center (UCC) is an important addition to health‑care services for residents in Regina and the surrounding area. The UCC is designed to provide patients timely access to health care for urgent but non‑life‑threatening illnesses and injuries that need care as soon as possible. It will then connect patients to community services within health networks, such as home care, crisis intervention and other avenues of primary health care, if needed. UCC is staffed with a multidisciplinary care team, including mental health professionals, to provide patients better access to urgent medical attention for a variety of needs.

Physician at the UCC will primarily focus on delivering high‑quality care to patients with non‑life‑threatening illnesses and injuries requiring same‑day attention, as well as those needing immediate mental health and addictions support.
