Unqualified Learning Support Assistant

A welcoming secondary school in Braintree is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join their team from September. This is a full-time, permanent position , working closely with teaching staff to support students across a range of abilities.

The successful candidate will play a key role in helping students access the curriculum, build confidence, and achieve their full potential.

The school is looking to arrange trial days over the next two weeks , providing candidates with the opportunity to experience the role and environment firsthand.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-class support to students across Key Stages 3 and 4
• Work 1:1 and with small groups, including students with SEN
• Assist teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons
• Support students with additional learning needs (e.g. ASD, ADHD, SEMH)
