Job Description
The Unix Systems Administrator will be responsible for ensuring the stability, integrity and efficient operation of IT infrastructure by providing hands‑on pro‑active Unix server administration.
- 5 years hands‑on experience in an high availability production enterprise networked environment.
- Experience with WebLogic, Solaris and Sun Hardware.
- Solid in-depth understanding of DNS, WINS and TCP/IP.
- Demonstrated experience installing, maintaining, operating, tuning and troubleshooting complex operating systems and applications.
- Extensive experience with Windows server implementation and maintenance including experience with systems planning, security management and general best practices.
- Working technical knowledge of Scripting languages such as Perl, SNMP, Shell Scripting; Knowledge of data privacy practices and laws.
- ITIL Foundations Certificate.
- Familiarity Cisco PIX Firewalls, VPN, switches and routers.
