Job Description
Provides clerical support to a Program or work group, provides assistance to the administration and staff, first point of contact for patients and visitors. Daily routines include: data entry, billing functions, reporting, reception and customer service, document distribution and ordering and monitoring of supplies; some special assignments may occur.
DUTIES:
Key in, edit and proof-read correspondence, reports, statements, invoices, forms and other documents, using word processing software and computers.Receive and forward telephone or counter inquiries to the appropriate person and provide general information to clients and the public.Photocopy and collate documents for distribution, mailing and filing.Maintain and update manual or computerized filing, inventory, mailing and database systems.Open, sort and route incoming mail, manually or electronically.Send and receive messages using facsimile machines or electronic ...
