Job Overview

Your main tasks include school and youth work, confirmation teaching, helper leader training, and developing youth sector activities. The parish is large geographically with 4 churches and visits several schools.

Responsibilities

You will support and mentor each other and work across sector boundaries, while also having the opportunity to work both in an urban environment and in the countryside.

Access to a car and a driver’s licence is essential.

Qualifications

• Degree as a church youth worker or equivalent competence, YH or higher. The degree should include specific studies in theology, church work, and parish and youth education.
• Extensive work experience in the field is considered an asset.
• Confirmed member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Finland.
• Excellent language skills in Swedish (working language) and sufficient knowledge of Finnish.
