Inspecting designated areas of the underground mine to assess excavation conditions and the quality of installed ground support. Monitoring ground support systems, support installations and areas requiring special attention. Preparing work plans for the rehabilitation, reinforcement or installation of additional underground ground support. Performing quality control activities, including pull tests and installation inspections. Participating in updates to the ground control program and ground support standards. Conducting structural and geomechanical mapping of excavations in collaboration with the geology team. Documenting ground conditions and geological structures that may affect excavation stability.
