A client of Insight Global is needing an Avionics Electrical Installer responsible for installing, integrating, and troubleshooting avionics and electrical systems on developmental and prototype aircraft, with a strong focus on rotary-wing platforms. Day-to-day responsibilities include interpreting engineering drawings, installing wiring and avionics equipment in accordance with FAA standards and industry best practices, diagnosing and repairing electrical and avionics issues, and providing feedback to engineering and logistics teams to improve installation documentation. The position also supports aircraft operations as needed, assists with maintaining tools and bench stock, and occasionally travels to customer sites to support program requirements.
