UAT Tester Job Description
This role plays a critical part in ensuring that software products meet business requirements and user needs before release.
- The UAT tester collaborates with the project team to understand business objectives and develop detailed test plans.
- They document test results, report bugs and errors to the development team, and follow up on resolutions.
A bachelor's degree in computer science or related field is required. Experience in UAT testing or similar roles is also essential.
- Familiarity with test management tools like Sirion, and SQL skills are must-haves for this position.
- An understanding of software development methodologies will be beneficial
to those who apply.
