Job Overview

Passionate SEN Tutors Wanted in Thanet and Surrounding Areas.

Pay: £27/hour (QTS) | £25/hour (Non-QTS)

Bonus: For every 5th hour worked, an extra hour's pay for planning and preparation.

Role Overview

These tutors deliver personalized intervention sessions for students without formal school placements, who have Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) and may need additional support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide one-to-one, needs-based tuition sessions.
  • Support students' academic progress and personal development, always working towards the targets on their EHCP.
  • Adapt teaching strategies to address individual learning challenges.
  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons in both English and Maths.
  • Collaborate closely with parents, carers, and external professionals.
  • Keep accurate records of student progress and attendance.
