Overview

Passionate SEN Tutors Wanted in Sittingbourne and surrounding areas. Part‑time or full‑time roles available.

Pay: £27 per hour for QTS tutors, £25 per hour for non‑QTS tutors. For every hour taught an additional 12 minutes’ pay is provided for planning and preparation, so a 10‑hour referral is paid as 12 hours and a 15‑hour referral as 18 hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide one‑to‑one, needs‑based tuition sessions.
• Support students’ academic progress and personal development, working towards the targets set on their EHCP.
• Adapt teaching strategies to address individual learning challenges.
• Plan and deliver engaging lessons in English and Maths.
• Collaborate closely with parents, carers and external professionals.
• Keep accurate records of student progress and attendance.
• Complete a daily feedback form after each session, even if no session took place.
