Role Overview


Position: 1:1 Tutor – Maths & English
Location: BA22 (Yeovil area)
Start Date: 30th March
Hours: Mondays, 9:30-11:30 (2 hours per week)
Rate: £20 – £35 per hour
Type: SEND / SEMH Support – relationship‑focused, low‑demand learning


You will be supporting a bright, creative young person who enjoys:


🐾 Cats
🤸 Trampolining


The young person has a diagnosis of ASD, ADHD, and a PDA profile, alongside trauma-based and school-related anxiety.
He learns best in a calm, low-pressure setting with lots of choice, flexibility, and connection.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Providing 1:1 Maths & English tutoring

  • Creating a safe, predictable, relationship‑centred learning environment

  • Using low-demand, collaborative approaches suitable for PDA
