Overview

OWSS WLAV FTS Turret Electro-Optical Technician (P54). General Dynamics Land Systems – Canada is seeking candidates to join the National Capital Region team in support of the Department of National Defence (DND). This long-term position is embedded within the DAVPM 2 Equipment Management Team as part of the Optimized Weapon System Support (OWSS) Wheeled Light Armoured Vehicle (WLAV) Fleet Technical Services (FTS) Team, in Ottawa, Ontario. The Life Cycle Material Manager (LCMM) focuses on maximizing sustainment effectiveness and minimizing life cycle cost supporting their assigned material.

Responsibilities and qualifications reflect expertise in life cycle material management, logistics, engineering, configuration management, procurement, and supportability for WLAV turret and related systems.
