Tunnel Inspector (Construction Support)

We are looking for a talented, motivated, and experienced Tunnel Inspector (Construction Support) to support an iconic construction project in Vancouver. In this position, you will work alongside our senior geotechnical and structural engineers and be able to mentor junior members of the team.

Responsibilities

• Providing full‑time inspection services during the construction of multiple elements of this critical project – in particular underground construction, including underground shaft and tunnel excavation, additional support of excavations, pre‑excavation grouting, steel pipe installation, and backfill grouting.
• Providing field engineering support for mechanically excavated tunnels and shafts in sedimentary rock sequences, including systematic geological mapping of shaft and tunnel faces, assessing and monitoring probe hole and pre‑excavation grouting requirements, design review and field verification of rock support systems, evaluating excava...
