GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES

Under general supervision, the tugger is responsible for transporting merchandise at the floor level from one location to another using a Tugger machine while abiding by all safety guidelines.

EXAMPLES OF WORK PERFORMED

• Using tugger machine to transport merchandise from one location to another throughout the warehouse;
• Tugger’s operate at the ground level;
• The tugger operator will scan merchandise as it is being connected/disconnected to their tugger for proper tracking and inventory control;
• Knowledge of tugger procedures;
• Responsible for maintaining excellent customer service;
• Respond to instructions sent to scan gun in regards to proper merchandise to pull;
• Keep warehouse area clean;
• Assist other departments in the warehouse as needed;
• Transfer materials as needed;
