Job Description
A Tube Mill Setter/Operator sets up, operates, and maintains ERW or stainless steel tube mill machinery, adjusting rolls, tooling, and welders for precise, high-efficiency production. Responsibilities include interpreting technical drawings, performing quality inspections, troubleshooting equipment, and ensuring safety standards are met, typically requiring 10-15 years of experience in metal manufacturing. Role & responsibilities
Preferred candidate profile
- Machine Setup: Install and align tooling, rolls, arbors, spindles, and guides according to production specifications.
- Operations & Monitoring: Operate tube mills, high-frequency welders, and auxiliary equipment (coolants, lubricants, scarfers) to produce quality, dimensionally accurate tubing.
- Quality Control: Inspect, measure, and test finished products (samples) for conformity to specifications; initiate corrective actions for defects.
