Traveling HVAC Commissioning Technician Position Overview We are seeking a  Traveling HVAC Commissioning Technician  to perform  startup, commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting of commercial HVAC systems  on new construction and retrofit projects.

This role focuses primarily on  commercial rooftop packaged systems (RTUs)  and occasionally  split systems , ensuring equipment is installed correctly, operates according to manufacturer specifications, and performs efficiently before final turnover to the customer.

Technicians typically work  approximately 55 hours per week , providing strong earning potential through consistent overtime opportunities.

You will collaborate closely with  project managers, mechanical contractors, and controls teams  to verify system operation and resolve startup or performance issues.
