Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY
The Transportation Supervisor is responsible for daily dispatch, maintenance of vehicles, driver orientation, driver evaluation, and driver training. This role will work closely with the Branch Operations Manager to ensure safe, effective, and efficient service to our customers.
Schedule: Monday - Friday, rotating Saturday’s. 40+ hours per week, depending on business needs.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Highly competitive wages starting at $80,000/year!
- Oversight of daily dispatch; which includes 1 to 3 deliveries a day.
- Supervisor responsibility for all route drivers
- Routinely review effectiveness of route sequence and dispatch goals, modify as needed via weekly route reviews
- Oversight of 3PL shipping; FedEx, UPS, and other common carriers.
- Develops and implements vehicle preventative maintenance programs. Plans vehicle maintenance to comply with safety regulations...
