Transportation Service Specialist

**Hours 8am-5pm, Mon-Fri** PURPOSE OF THE JOB This role is accountable for performing daily outbound transportation tasks and carrier related communications for multiple The company manufacturing facilities, creating solutions that are in the best interest of the customer and the company. The TSS will assign daily freight to the company carrier base to meet delivery dates of customer orders in a cost-effective manner. The TSS will collaborate with Customers, Carriers, Manufacturing Facilities, Customer Service Specialists, Logistics Analyst, Material Planners and other OC organizations as necessary to identify and troubleshoot issues to ultimately deliver our product on-time and damage free. This role will require the TSS to embrace and actively display the company values, stands and purpose.
