Transportation Safety

This position will be reporting to the Safety and Compliance Manager with dotted line reporting to the General Manager. This role will be responsible of reviewing driver logs, dash cams and telematics, permit renewal, driver hiring, driver training and onboarding for the different terminals of the company. Monitor the company's safety rating in the different jurisdictions. Monday to Friday (10:30am to 7:00pm) 40 hours per week

Responsibilities (Safety & Compliance -- 4 hours per day)

• Co-ordinate a fleet of 55 company trucks spread over 12 locations in Canada and the USA

• Review and audit daily all company driver logs to ensure compliance.

• Publish monthly Safety Analytics dashboard and support managers with telematic data as required

• Review and audit daily the video intelligence dash cams for harsh events.

• Assist driver in regards of any question on hours of service and logs.
