Job Summary
The Operations Manager is responsible for Onboarding, Developing, Coaching, Mentoring, and Performance Management of all drivers and helpers assigned to them. The ideal candidate will have experience with coaching and mentoring employees, understand transportation and logistics, and 3+ years' experience in people management overseeing a staff of 25+ employees. Experience in managing union employees and DOT regulated drivers preferred.
Schedule: Monday through Friday 10:00am to close, Operations Managers should be flexible to work either opening or closing shifts, and up to 12 hour a day to support the operational needs.
II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
+ Ensuring new frontline employees have tools, instruction, and feedback for successful daily duties
+ Meet with new frontline employees daily to ensure consistent communication and support of onboarding
+ Provide timely and consistent touchpoints with frontline employees.
