Transportation Manager

Job Description :

• To lead and develop the Transport/Distribution business.
• In charge of the team, fleet, subcon's and the P&L of the Transport Department.
• Plan & optimize daily distribution activities with own fleet and subcontractors.
• Identify suitable subcontractor for new routes and/or additional volumes.
• Define Service Levels, negotiate rates & contracts. Monitor KPI's.
• Work closely with our CS team and warehouse to meet lead times and other customer requirements
• Support our BD team with transport pricing in RFQ's
• Conduct root cause analysis and corrective action to verify and resolve customer complaints.
• Ensure that staff members comply with administrative policies and procedures, safety rules and government regulations.
• Keep track of revenue and cost. Provide analysis for improvements.
• Schedule and oversee repair & maintenance of own fleet.
