Job Description

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Transportation Data Scientist to join high-impact a high‑impact team applying AI/ML to transform safety, freight, and mobility outcomes. This role is located in McLean, VAthrough 100% full onsite presence. The Transportation Data Engineer will design, build, and evaluate AI/ML models using multimodal transportation data to advance mobility and transportation safety.

Responsibilities of the Transportation Data Scientist include:

  • Design, develop & deploy AI/ML models for transportation use cases
  • Build & integrate multi-source datasets addressing data quality issues
  • Evaluate model performance & robustness & provide recommendations to improve scalability, reliability & trustworthiness
  • Engage stakeholders via workshops/briefings, translate needs into roadmaps, proposals, & implementation strategies
