Transport Operator
Location: Stowmarket
Salary: £13.33 per hour (£14.93 with advanced holiday pay)
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday - 06:00 to 15:00
Contract: Temporary ongoing
Gi Group are looking for a transport operator to manage the transport and warehouse operations at the Stowmarket site in line with daily requirements, ensuring the customer's needs are met efficiently and effectively while maintaining full compliance with all health and safety processes and procedures.
Key Responsibilities as a transport operator:
Ensure all client's processes and procedures are adhered to across all operational activities.
Take responsibility for afternoon transport planning, including:
Planning vehicle utilisation effectively
Dispatching and debriefing drivers in line with company policy
Ensuring all paperwork is accurately completed and correctly filed
Maintaining depot compliance on the Tacho management system and ensuring all in...
