Transport & Logistics Manager

Key Responsibilities Manage the daily transport operations of the business, including planning, scheduling, and dispatching vehicles. Ensure efficient utilisation of company and subcontractor transport resources. Monitor vehicle performance, fuel consumption, maintenance schedules, and operating costs. Develop and implement transport strategies that improve fleet productivity and reduce downtime. Ensure compliance with all transport legislation, road safety regulations, and company policies. Analyse transport routes, delivery schedules, and loading efficiencies to identify cost-saving opportunities. Implement systems and processes to streamline logistics operations and improve service delivery. Continuously evaluate transport performance metrics and implement corrective actions where necessary.
