Transport Driver (Casual)

The Transport Driver is responsible for operating a motor vehicle for the purpose of transporting supplies and materials. They perform routine inspections and maintenance duties on the vehicles as required, and ensure transport of supplies, materials and maintain the safety of storage sites.

Reporting

This role reports to the Coordinator of the TEP program and the Program Manager.

Job Duties

• Transports a variety of supplies and materials to various locations by operating motor vehicles such as cars, trucks, and vans.
• Loads and unloads items such as materials, supplies, performs routine inspection and maintenance duties on vehicles and equipment such as securing load, cleaning interior and exterior of vehicle, fueling vehicle, checking belts, lights, and tires, and maintaining fluid levels; recommends vehicle and equipment repairs as required.
