Hit the road to a rewarding casual role in Comox! We're seeking adaptable and community-focused Transit Drivers to join our team casually, playing a vital role in keeping our community connected. Our next cohort of Transit Drivers will begin in May of 2026. 

Compensation, Schedule & Training:

  • Schedule: This is a part-time Spare Board driver position with no set hours. Shifts will be assigned based on operational needs and require strong flexibility for various shifts, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and statutory holidays.

  • Wage Structure:
  • Full Rate (after 480 hours): $ per hour.

  • Intermediate Rate (240-480 hours): $ per hour (94% of full rate).

  • Introductory Rate (first 240 hours): $ per hour (90% of full rate).
  • Training: Successful candidates will complete a paid training program at a rate of $ per hour.
