Responsibilities SUMMARY: The primary purpose of this position is: to evaluate and manage the training and education program on behalf of the assigned group and assist unit training managers within supported units, as needed. The role of this program manager is to function as a key member of the group commander's staff responsible for overall oversight and management of the training and educational program. The program manager serves as a unit training manager (UTM) consultant and determines if quality training programs are in effect within all sections. The program manager implements and manages training programs, policies, and procedures, as directed by the group commander, education and training office, and higher headquarters.
