Role

Responsibilities
  • Fund monitoring and budget management at programme and project level.

  • Support for the setting up of new awards including budgets, project codes, work orders, milestones, and communication of terms and conditions.

  • Develop, implement and document new processes or procedures.

  • Support for key internal and external stakeholders (such as students, departments, academics and partners) with financial and technical queries to ensure effective and compliant delivery of funds.

  • Preparation of financial grant claims and statements, including regular reconciliation, sourcing evidence if required and preparation of journals. 

  • Dealing with post award queries including guidance on, and compliance with funder and institutional rules and regulations.

  • Closure of grants, including supporting the preparation of final reports (e.g. financial statements).
