Position Title

Trainee Operating Department Practitioner (ODP) – BSc Hons (Graduate Apprenticeship) in Operating Department Practice.

Overview

This permanent full‑time (36 hours per week) role offers a three‑year Graduate Apprenticeship to become a qualified Operating Department Practitioner (ODP). The apprenticeship is delivered in partnership with the University of the West of Scotland and combines 20% online educational theory with 80% clinical work‑based learning across NHS Fife. Graduates will progress through perioperative care in the anaesthetic, surgical and post‑anaesthetic phases, and upon successful completion will be eligible to apply for Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) registration.
