We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Trainee Officer – Payroll to join our HR team. This role is ideal for fresh graduates or early-career professionals who have a strong command of Microsoft Excel and are eager to build a career in payroll and HR operations.
The selected candidate will assist in payroll processing, employee compensation records, and HR data management while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and confidentiality.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in monthly payroll processing and salary calculations
- Maintain and update employee payroll data and records
- Perform payroll-related calculations using advanced Excel formulas
- Work on data cleaning, validation, and reconciliation
- Prepare payroll reports, summaries, and dashboards
- Assist with overtime, deductions, allowances, and tax-related calculations
- Coordinate with HR and Finance teams to resolve payroll discrepancies
