Trainee - Insurance Advisor

Location: Westland Insurance Group Ltd, Cranbrook, BC

Compensation: The hourly rate for this role is $23.00 on a 37.5‑hour work week, with an increase upon licensing and movement into the Insurance Advisor position. Licensing is typically achieved within 3 months from the date of hire but is dependent on individual achievement. Westland covers licensing costs.

Responsibilities

• Have your licensing costs covered by Westland
• Be provided with a training plan to ensure you’re fully supported throughout the six‑week training period and beyond
• Be at the frontline, answering questions as they arise and communicating product benefits that best match client needs
• Invest your energy into learning more about conducting interviews while capturing the right data
• Participate hands‑on as a member of the team, turning client concerns into opportunities
