Trainee Accountant

What's the role?

In this exciting opportunity, you will support the Centre of Excellence service and deliver accounting services to the other Gen II offices, providing taxation, bookkeeping and accounting support to Private Equity team clients. All tasks will be carried out efficiently and effectively, in accordance with Gen II’s procedures.

What You’ll Be Doing

Your role may include, but will not be limited to, the following tasks which we call Defined Business Activities. The list of defined business activities is not exhaustive and may be amended from time to time:

• Responsible for a portfolio of clients;
• Performing regular banking platform reconciliations and escalating any anomalies;
• Completing the monthly and quarterly management accounts and bookkeeping;
• Calculating the Net Asset Value (NAV) of funds on a regular basis, including the valuation of investments and recording of income and expenses;
