Job Description
A trailer truck driver is responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods, materials, or equipment over long distances using a tractor-trailer combination truck. Key responsibilities include pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections, securement of cargo, adherence to traffic laws, route planning, and maintaining detailed logs. The role also involves basic vehicle maintenance, assisting with loading and unloading, and communicating with dispatchers and customers to ensure timely and safe deliveries.
