The Traffic Signals Project Engineer is responsible for planning, analyzing, designing, and optimizing traffic signal systems to improve safety, mobility, and operational efficiency across roadway networks. This role involves developing and implementing signal timing plans, conducting traffic analysis using traffic counts, safety analysis, travel time studies, simulation models, and evaluating intersection performance to identify operational improvements.
