We are hiring for a Traffic Engineer in the Tysons, VA area.
Starting pay is based on relevant experience, education and EIT/PE status.Job description:Preparation of traffic design projects: Including traffic signal, lighting, maintenance of traffic, detour, pavement marking and signing plans. Preparation of technical documents to include traffic analysis studies, site access, and circulation evaluation studies. Signal warrant, design exception/waiver documentation and proposal preparation. Attending, participating in project meetings. Working with traffic engineering and transportation planning initiatives with other offices.
Required:The ideal candidate will have a mix of knowledge, skills and experience including project management, public presentation, analytical and organizational skills. Analytical, logical, loves solving problems and enjoys working in a fast-paced consulting environment.
