Traffic Coordinator

PURPOSE

General responsibility for coordinating and supervising all incoming and outgoing freight as required by retailers, and individual customers including freight claims and chargebacks.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Direct, coordinate and plan all inbound and outbound containers to ensure a smooth flow of shipments and deliveries.
• Coordinate with carriers for prepaid outbound shipments.
• Investigate and resolve any chargebacks from retailers.
• Investigate and resolve any claims of freight damage both inbound and outbound.
• Obtain freight quotes as needed for the various brands of Karcher North America.
• Calculate cube, dimensions, and weights to determine the most cost‑efficient way to transport product.
• Prepare reports, recommendations and other analysis as necessary.
