Join The Universal Group as a Traffic Control Technician, responsible for ensuring safety on work sites in Canada. This position focuses on effective traffic management during the week and occasional weekends.
As a Traffic Control Technician, your main duties include setting up traffic control measures and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. You will report to site supervisors and manage work zones amidst varied challenges, all while collaborating with contractors to uphold high safety standards across the lower mainland.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead setup and teardown of traffic control signs
• Provide clear, actionable traffic directions
• Assess and adapt to changing work zone conditions
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
• Participate in special events and toolbox meetings
